€400, 9 weeks, two dead-on-arrival deliveries and 40 angry emails later, and UNCompany have agreed to send me the parts need to repair my MP5.

I've never actually taken one apart before. How hard will it be to replace the motor, gears and barrel?

whats the story, you got a malfunctioning aeg ? (unco. sucks at times...)

so you have to replace the motor gears and barrel too ?
if its your first time opening an aeg and/or gearbox, i suggest you have someone help you with that. better be someone with the adapted tools (you'll need some special screwdrivers etc)

    Seconded

I took apart my 1911 and a spring flew off and went missing. i stripped the room piece by piece and sifted through the dirt after sweeping up. stood the bed on end still couldnt find it so got changed and left the house in a strop.

Came back 4 hours later and the first thing i seen when i opened the door of my room was the spring on the floor beside the clothes i took off.
