Training for the Dublin City Marathon and longest run to date is 17 miles.
    Have a good plan so I reckon I can complete it........barely ;)

I'm using an ipod nano pedometer. I know it's not 100% accurate but it's useful and good for motivation.

My average pace on longer runs is between 7mins 30sec and 8mins 30secs.
Would you consider that a reasonable pace and can you recommend a good time to beat for a beginner?
I don't what a good goal is for this race

    Thanks
