I am in the same boat as you, just broke up with long term partner, had booked 2 holidays that i did'nt get to go on, paid for and all, could'nt get any of my single friends to go, due to no money, getting time of work etc,, so im completely miserable, So i too am trying to get them to book somewhere for NYE, will not be able to get through xmas never mind NYE. I was looking into Budapest, its meant to be good, but the flights are about 250e have even gone up since yesterday, So if i can get the girls to hand over the cash, thats where i'll be going I think...

    Have you booked anything?

In the same boat. I was looking at Xmas in San Fran and then Vegas for NYE before flying home. But Ive decided to go east this time. Booked Dubai and fly out Xmas Eve, and have NYE there as well. Should be fun. Single holidays can be good.....so Ive heard!
