    Folks,

Just wondering would like to hear from anyone out there like me who only purchases sky tv to watch football and who switched to the alternative satellite kits?

It is a lot of money to shell out for the foreign setup and i personally don't know anyone who ever has except for some:confused: big rich publicans.

Sorry now not sure if this should be on the sky or foreign section.

forget that, what i do is use the web site **MODEDIT**. Download a few programmes onto your PC/Laptop install them and just tune into free football from all around the world for free. You will need broadband though. But its spot on.

**No links allowed to illegal streams or associated software.

Last few seasons , many people defected to ART.
Cheap, lots of games, English commentary and quality picture on Hotbird.

ART don't do Premier League anymore. Alternatives now are generally more expensive or on less accessible sats.

If you only watch Sky for the football and are concerned about the cost, stop a sec and think. 12 x monthly subs x €60 = €720

You can get set up permanently on the 'foreign' sats for a lot less than this.

(streaming on a laptop is absolutley crap by comparison to satellite)

I don't watch football myself but, in case it's relevant, this page might help:

    Yes, Digitalb SuperSport Premium!

I got it myself some weeks ago, and it's pretty good. However, I find 80cm dish too small, so an upgrade of dish would need to be considered, I recommend 1m or 1.1m.

I bought Supersport card and TM1500+ on eBay.

The prices on that link seem a bit expensive. There are cheaper sites for the cards like Hisat, etc.
