    HI
thinking of getting one. any opinions on it, does anyone have one?
Thinking of the sonic blue, which looks white but in most light gives off this amazing blue hue.
Only concern is the 12" radius neck -supposed to be bit larger than standard strat, wonder if it would cause fatigue after playing for 2 hours (standard gig time).

Any advice / input at all is appreciated.
    Cheers:D

Sonic blue is one of my favourite colours, I have to say. I have never played one but FWIW I have a Strat with 12" radius fretboard and I find it great to play. Obviously your mileage may vary.

There's lots of posts about this particular strat at A.N.Other forum.

I have one and can't recommend it highly enough - I'm not gigging these days so I'd say my hand would be tired after two hours on any guitar but I don't find it any more difficult to play than my American Deluxe (9.5") - it's got a different feel but not difficult to play.

The pickups on this thing are amazing and it's got a real 60's vibe to it - it feels like I'm stepping back in time every time I pick it up. I've got some videos on you tube that might help you get an idea of the sound

Thanks guys! I feel a little better bout taking the plunge now. I need a new guitar asap, my old one has gone to sh*t and to be honest i'd rather just keep it for practice sessions now and use my new Fender at gigs.

The sonic blue is something else though isn't it! I play with a lad who plays a JP signature Ernie ball musicman-so i felt a little , well lets say, "inadequate" with my Yamaha Pacifica!!!

Anyway i think my fender will give him a run for his money (i know its like 1/3 the price) but still!

I don't think you'll have any regrets. In my opinion it's the best guitar to come out of Fender Mexico. It won't appeal to everyone - it's not the most versatile (no Black Metal on this!) but if it's Hendix, SRV, Gilmour your after then this will do great. The colour is gorgeous - no pictures do it justice.

Just one note of caution the pickups do hum - if your used to single coils this won't be an issue but if your used to humbuckers or noiseless PUP's you will notice a difference. Having said that when your hands are on the strings they sing!!

    Good luck with it!

So I got it anyway - and I played it last nite at practice - roughly 3 hours of playing with some breaks in between - and my hand never tired, so I don't know what I was worrying about.
the sound is excellent - So much tone here for your money.
Anyway just thought i'd give my review.!
