Taking a still image from a video?

    Hi,

    I have a few videos taken on my camera from the summer hols, was wondering what program(s) i can use to capture a still image from the video just to have pictures.

    If you have Windows Movie Maker, you can play your vid and press the camera icon in the bottom right hand corner to take a photo.

    VLC Media Player also allows you to take snapshots.

    press the print-screen button on your keyboard,then copy the relevant part in Paint.

    media player classic does video screen captures and
    can also do a nice contact sheet of your video.
    e.g. a 4x4 single image of captures.
