This may have been posted before so discard this thread if it has......

    http://www.pocketfives.com/AAF36C76-17C7-42FA-9529-664B12F3AE1E.aspx

    Video is about 38mb

I think he makes some interesting points about playing against short stacks in cash games and he gives a quality situational analysis in the pockets deuces blind on blind hand....

If it wasnt so expensive, i think i would invest in a cardrunners membership - anyone think its worth the money?

Depends what your bankroll is. It might not be worth it for someone playing micro stakes but otherwise it's def worth it.

There's 31 at 0.50/1 and 41 at 1/2, although some may be HU or FR.

Stakes range from 0.10 - 0.25 up to 10 - 20, they also do SNGs, MTTs, PLO and limit up to 50 - 100.

i think it's well worth it (about $250 for 6 months inc the $100 sign up fee). Pretty much any video by Taylor or Townsend are excellent. The ideas in the 2/4 to 5/10 still apply to lower stakes... except the standard of opponent is obv a little higher.

I signed up when i was a 20nl player and i have to say it really helped, there SSNL series are excellent for a player starting out and makes you realise how easy it is to make money playing ABC poker at micro stakes. At $24 per month its defo well worth it even for a small stakes player

i think most of the videos are rubbish. the newer ones are slightly better but green plastic regularly does some weird stuff such as open limping the cutoff with 33 to name just one. The townsed ones re ok. Very mixed standard of play. His creating a crazy image video is one of the most ridiculous overhyped pieces of crap ive ever seen, simply because he got an idiot to ship in 100BBs preflop with KQ. Doesnt in anyway make up for the rest of his spewy play and any decent player who uses a hud would have known exactly what he was up tp based on his stats. Tufats guest video was excellent and some of the mtt videos are good, but overall I think alot of the videos are quite poor. The older ones in particular are attrocious

I see Jman is not going to be making any more video's for them either. People seem to be really hyping his first one. Did anyone see it was it good ?

Plus GP has promised in the below thread that the quailty will get much better over the next few weeks.

    hey everyone,

ye signed up to cardrunners there around 4 months ago and it is amazing.
at first your like a child in a candy store (well i was anyways).
there is just so much high quality videos for every sort of poker game whether its MTT, SNG, HU, HH, NL, Limit, Omaha, Multi/single tabling- whatever way you play. Was very impressed by it. fair enough there is some ****e videos where players of their standard making mistakes they shouldn be but overall there is a lot of top quality vids esp by stinger, taylor caby, aaron been and brian townsend. I have really learnt a lot from the 20/25 45-1 hr vids i watched from everything to tells (you'd be surprised) to playing short / high stacked to playing weak/strong players to playing in early stages to late stages of tourneys.
basically what i am saying is apart from the $100 signing up fee it is the bargain of the centery if you are a poker fanatic at $25 a month.
get back to me if you need any more help.

    hope this helped,

    biz

Yeah it was very good, his discussion of ranges was excellent. He talked not only about his opponents' ranges during the hands but also mentioned what ranges his lines represented.

I was disappointed that he won't be doing more.
