Slow boot times on XP laptop

Hi all, my laptop boots really slowly. I done boot time de-frag, virus scan, spyware scan, auto de-frag is on the drives. Ive ran start-up inspector and only have the bare minimum of programs running on start-up. Its a Hp pavillion centrino duo 1.66 with 2Gb ram so it should be fairly quick. Any ideas?
