Watching ball games in a church.

    The DEC will be using their large screen projector to display the the Irish matches of the upcoming rugby world cup. I think this is a great idea for a church to offer their facilities for this occasion. Perhaps other churches could follow suit and help change the venue of these events that have been for so long associated with the pub.

    That's a fantastic idea. Is DEC Dublin Evangelical Church or something else? Not on wikipedia.

    It is an independant Christian Church based in Dunlaoghaire, ie Dunlaoghaire Evangelical Church http://www.dec.ie/

    It's a brilliant idea, but they're almost certainly breaking the law by holding a public screening of copyright work unless they've purchased a licence from whoever's screening they're showing, like the pubs have to.
