    Hand 1

Live hand from tourney in lukes..

On the bubble 5 players left paying 4...
Stacks are important... as are blinds... blinds are 1k 2k
    Me 22000
    Chip leader 100k +
    2 guys under 5k and 10k
    1 lady on 50k

i post my BB of 2k leaving me with 20k behind and look down at 44...... lady on the button raises to 10k

My move? I think I have 0% fold equity here....

    Hand 2

Villan is a bit mad playing 75% vpip but has made a few all in moves and got looked up hence his stack... he had a set one time and 2 pair the other time... he's playing every hand and is playing strangly.... betting when he is behind and checking when ahead...

Cant find hand history for it but goes as follows

blinds 1/2 I have a decent tank of 400+ and villan has 550
    Me Ah10d
I complete my small blind after villan limps on button.bb checks

    flop KcQc9c
I check BB checks Villan checks
turn Js giving me the straight..

I bet 10 bb folds villan calls..
    Turn 2h

I bet 20 villan goes all in for 500+

    Me???

    Hand 3

Seem to be missing hand histories... cant find this on either and I only played it 20 mins ago... anyway from memory...

This is a real nastie i think....

    I have Ah9h

I have a stack of about 550 and villan has 450
He is a solid enough player by my read and has stats of 20/12/1.2/140... I havn't really noticed him up till now and he doesn't seem to have got out of line so far... He doubled through with AA a while ago giving him his stack

I raise to 7 from my button and so far this villan has been giving up his blinds or calling and folding flop in general...

    he calls from the BB..

    (pot 16 ish)
    flop 9c 5h 4h

he checks I bet 15 villan calls...

    (Pot 45 ish)

    Turn As

he checks I bet 30 villan calls

    (Pot 95ish)
    river 8h....

Villan leads for 30 I raise to 100 with the "nuts"

He goes all in for another 400 or so.....

I'm about to click call while shouting form the rooftops "ship it............"

When I realise I don't have the nuts..... 6h 7h is the nuts...

OMG.......... what now..... turbo table as well timer going real quick.. I'm in panic....

    I can't fold??

Advice and councilling apreciated as always

    Mac

Too tired to reply in detail

    Hand 1 - Fold

    Hand 2 - Fold

    Hand 3 - Call

    1. Fold

    2. Fold fast as a speeding bullet

    3. Beat him to the pot.

I don't think any of these are interesting or difficult.

    1. instafold
    2. instafold
    3. instacall

Hand 1. Fold. Best case your slightly ahead. Worst case 81% dog. You can only be ahead here if you are wildly optimistic.

Hand 2. I fold. Call this for chop chop?. The flop check/call by Villian gives me a bad feeling in the general pant region.

Hand 3. Call, and then check for the bogey monster every night before you go asleep.

Ditto for me too. Standard imo.

Sorry to annoy any of you with some of the hand but they really did cause me trouble... especially hand 3... all I could think of was str8 flush........ MUTBS must really be getting to me...

Anyway we'll put this to bed now... or under the bed

    Hand 1

Looks Like I did the wrong thing here... I pushed with my 44 and got called as expected by A5 and a 5 on the flop sees me take the bubble while the guys with 2bb's each were delighted....... I'm an idiot...

    Hand 2

I folded... this would normally be an easy fold but the guy was an idiot but could still have flopped the flush.... he showed and had the smaller str8 with 9/10..... Was just wondering of any of you can find a call here against an idiot....

Hand 3.... hindsight is great I suppose  I called after convincing myself he had the nuts as I couldn't see him doing this with anything else.. I was wrong and he had Kh Qh............

    Hand 1

The great thing about the way you played this hand is that you'll never make this mistake again. I remember doing the exact same thing myself when I started playing and I have never forgotten it. Its a hard lesson to learn but worth it.

Hand 1: Fold for me. If maybe 14K or shorter I'd push... Now I fold and steal/shove when button passes. You'll more than likely get your stack back to 20K, hey maybe double up. There are better spots IMO.

Hand 2: Vs a muppet actually vs anyone I fold all the time. I doubt weaker hands/missed FD is shoving here enough.

Hand 3: Man, 2nd nuts which ze proverbial knuts 99% of the time here. Take him on the train to Valuetown ! Hellmuth style insta-push while simultaneously banging the desk with your fist in jubilation.

I think all the bad beats and swings of late have made you 2nd guess and/or hesitate your thought process. I know you are a subsistence player but maybe a short break will help. Just my opinion. Obviously if you feel cool with what your doing right now ignore this paragraph.

Oh also invest in some of these:

after you posted hand three, I was convinced that he was going to have the straight flush. Could you ever see yourself folding in that spot? Even against the rockiest of players you would have to call.

I push hand 1 most of the time being happy to race with 2 overs.....

Could someone smarten me up please?

    :)

    Cheers.

Not even I'm that unlucky ;) but I just couldn't see him doing it with anything else... I would never make this play with a K high flush and I suppose I didn't expect any half decent player to do it either

Lloyd... your perfectly right about the tourney hand.... It was a clear fold.... I knew she wasn't strong but I somehow thought at the time that I have FE.... it was non existant given the stacks...

No excuse just bad ..... only consolation was the money for 3 and 4 was very poor and I had only made a 30 euro spend...

I cannot believe the pocket 4's, its a certain fold, at best you were racing against two overcards, what were you thinking about?
Regardless of bubble or not, its not a calling hand.
