I think Dixons are doing a Fuji 9 mil pixel camera for €149. The ad was in paper last week (wed ot Thus).

    7dayshop.com have a Sony DSC-S650 for £85 + shipping or a Canon PowerShot A460 for £78 + shipping.

It's a good idea to check out reviews on the likes of www.cnet.com to help make a choice on which camera best suits your needs.

Of course Argos also have a wide selection in your price range.

Got myself a samsung L73 for around that price a while ago. Bought by dad in NY but the shop does online sales too. http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?shs=samsung+L73&ci=0&sb=ps&pn=1&sq=desc&InitialSearch=yes&O=RootPage.jsp&A=search&Q=*&bhs=t

There's only 1 on ebay, and its the silver one. I got the blcak one and its really nice looking. Easy to use, fits in the pocket and doesnt cause any trouble. Only drawback is lack of manual settings. It does allow you to make some settings but range of these is limited. Having said that, during a month travelling around europe taking all kinds of shots, from daytime scenery to drunk night-time shots, it always had a pre-set mode to suit the situation. Also has good battery life from the li-ion.

    good luck!

thanks for the suggestion Massey, but i dont think its slim enough. I want the camera to be as thin as possible so i can bring it everywhere with me without hassle
