    Hi,

Need some help........... Trying to setup the Sky remote to work with my gf's tv, i have tried the set-up procedure in the manual but to no avail  The tv i am trying to sync the reomte with is a Beko, the code in the book is 0125

Does anyone know any other codes to use for this tv????
It worked when i had the Beko in my room but now it doesn't seem to work in my gf's house with her Sky box.

    Any help would be great

    Hi..Try this code: Beko 0125, 0742, 514, 398, 065, 398, 0081. Some older TV might use the 3 digit remote code
    .

    How To:

have you tried to cycle through the code set by pressing tv and standby if it does not work first time?
Also philips codes will also work on some Beko TV's

Yeah tried the cycle thing and it didn't work, it flashed 3 times, which meant it had cycled through the code.

Never thought about the Philips codes, good shout.....:D

How old is the GF's Sky remote? If it is an old type (those without the speaker symbol on the 0 button) it might not work.

I have a code for a Beko, but I've written it down at home. I shall dig it out later.

Try 3 digit code {742} works 99% of the time with Beko

Cheers, just checked my original box downstairs and my remote does not have the speaker symbol on it, so i doubt she has as she got it not long after me.

Will i have to update just the remote???? If so how nuch would i be looking at???

Yep, thats the code I have.

6 years might be a bit too old for a new type Beko, this happened to me when I moved my 7 year old Pace digibox to a new Beko 14" in the kitchen; 742 worked on the Sky+ remote in the living room, but not on the old remote.

As for getting a replacement remote, they can be got easily in Argos (the new white ones) for €20.49, or cheaper online.

So if i buy one of the new remotes this should solve the problem???

Oh aye. If it doesn't I'd check to see if your thumbs are still functioning :D

Remember to tell us if it works.

Gf's should work as she was able to sync the remote to her old tv which was a Sony.

Will probably buy the new remote for my family tv, as some of the buttons are sticking so it seems it needs to be changed.

Will probably buy one tomorrow, and if it works or not i will let you guys know.....Hopefully it will work:D
