Says they're available on apple.com/ie (or whatever!), but nowhere to be seen yet. Is it a premature launch on the website or is it, like a lot of Xbox Live stuff recently, UK only.

apple.com/ie is just a mirror of the uk site except the prices for their products are in euros.

movies and tv shows are on the UK itunes, but not here.

different country as far as tv rights are concerned so i reckon we will have to wait another while.. it looks like we wont get the iphone when it launches in Europe for a while either. Uk, Germany and France are believed to be fist european countries to get it... hopefully by the time it comes out here there may be a 3g version of it!! Macworld 2008 announcement perhaps??

the iphone won't be released here - as in europe - without 3g.

Of course if one was to get a new phone and one liked all that g stuff, one would be better off waiting until this time next year when we will have 4g in ireland this time next year.

I am 50/50 about getting an iphone. I would love one, but i do not really spend much on my mobile phone ( i use the land line way more) and 95% of the time i text. i love text. I will be looking really really hard at the price plan and options ( leaving the €600 aside, price plan more important ).
I am o2 and seen as o2 are getting the iphone i may get a small deal. But that is not important, i reckon the 4g next year is an option.

    TV shows.
NBC are getting greedy now, they want more money and are leaving itunes. So i reckon all these companies will get greedy and leave in the next few years. So is Ireland getting the tv shows at a bad time ?
NBC are going to sell the shows themselves and force people to watch ads when they get it.

i'm just glad i have plenty of cousins. Paying that type of money for tv shows is an absolute joke.
