I was just wondering if anyone recommends anywhere to sell old gear, I am trying to raise a bit of cash at the moment by selling off some of my old stuff and was wondering where I could advertise it besides adverts.ie?

    Thanks

    eBay?

    Buy & Sell?

Members on Fredmiranda.com have a trading section too, but don't think there are too many Irish users there...

Yep, some old lens from my F801 times and a Sigma 15-30mm I am thinking of selling...

I might try and use the buy and sell, but from reading the other adds it doesn't seem like the place that people manage to sell this kind of thing...

I know you said besides adverts ,but in case you haven't used it
I used adverts for both buying and selling.
    Reliable people on both ends:)

you may as well stick all your stuff up on adverts anyway - no loss to you.

The reason I said besides adverts is because I already put it up there but from reading through similar articles it appeared that half the time things were sold through other means and I was just wondering if someone could give me some pointers...

There's a "for sale" section over on the Photography Ireland site, though there's sometimes a bit of suspicion of anybody whose first post is one flogging stuff
