Ive just started using a number of rootkit detecting software :

    unhackme - http://greatis.com/unhackme/
    snoopfree - http://www.snoopfree.com/default.htm
    Security Task Manager - http://www.neuber.com/taskmanager/

They seem pretty good, just from about an hour of use. Any opinions on the above software. I found recommendations for all the above on wildersecurity.com but I cant find anything else to back the recommendations up.
They are all touted as having the ability to detect rootkit and computer monitoring software that antivirus and spyware tools wont detect.

After having used these three pieces of software, did you find any rootkits?

No but they did highlight a number of programs that could be potential rootkits (laptop power app that monitors keyboard, etc)

AVG anti-rootkit, Blacklight, GMER are all the best rootkit scanners.

Chances are a lot of people won't have a rootkit so no need for any of these programs.

    Haha :)
I'm not a fan of it myself, but it is good. It just renames any possible rootkits it finds, nothing too complicated. It's far better than most of the programs and is lot more user friendly when compared to programs like RootkitRevealer.
