Probably the best Irish Punk Rock group of the 90's. Just came across two of their videos on youtube and said that I'd share them out.

    THIS IS PUNK ROCK!

    Ahh yes, the memories.

Unfortunately I lost my On The Turn album, does anyone know if it's still available to buy? Some load of classic tracks on that single album.

Edit/ What's the craic, we can't embed youtube clicks any more? Balls :(

Fixed. To embed a YouTube clip, ignore the code on youtube itself and use the following without the spaces:
[ youtube]"just the code bit at the end of the YouTube URL, not the full URL"[ /youtube]

Yeah On The Turn really is a classic album.
I remember seeing a Metal Hammer review that described it as the best modern rock album since Nevermind.
They should have been huge. Never got their first album though, looked for years in shops.
I still see On the Turn around sometimes.

The first album was great but all went downhill after that. They aint no punk band either. Id call it Hard Rock.

Kerbdog made one great album in their lifetime. Unfortunately it was spread across the two albums they released. They tended to repeat themselves a little on both albums and ran out of ideas for songs and even what to do with them sometimes.

Still they had some cracking tunes and I'm amazed Dry Riser wasn't a crossover hit.

Nah wouldnt classify them as hard rock either, the first album was metal but in a good Tool/Helmet 'intelligent' kinda way, and the second was grunge.

Hard to understand how they slipped under the radar alright, The first album is prob the best metal album to ever come out of this country, waaay better than anything therapy ever threw up. and its been deleted.:(

Second album could have given the Seatle boys a run for their money had it been released a few years earlier. bad timing and too many big shot record execs messing with a young bands head.

'Mexican Wave' is a classic alright. Wilt were none too shoddy either. Plus Cormac Battle is the only person I've heard pointing out that the Emperor is in fact naked, and that Fight Like Apes are unadulterated drivel - so he's alright with me.

Darragh (drummer) owner and runs a class little record shop off high street in kilkenny - they reunite every now n'then around the Callan/kilkeny area...
    Sound man indeed, class band.
Wilt - never hit it off, well I can say I'll ever tire of any of Kerbdogs songs - especially Mexian Wave ! Thanks for the vid Rollo -
oh, P.s - try "KeepVid" dot com - sneaky :)

    Ahh the memories...
    Great band.
    Great videos.
Remind me a bit of therapy in that they were weirdly underrated.
    Shame they didn't do more.

Nail hit squarely on head there.
