connecting internal usb leads

I've finally gotten around to buying a decent chassis (well decent compared to the awful one I had before) http://www.thermaltake.com/product/chassis/midtower/tsunami/bwa/bwa.asp

When it comes to hardware, I'm far from an expert, but I know enough in general to put a PC together, but it's a struggle. This chassis has got 2 additional USB Ports, now where I'm a bit confussed is that there are 5 holes on each of the USB connection leads, but the two internal USBbconnectors have 9 pins each. So I'm basically unsure whether to connect two of the leads to one USB connector or connect them each to seperate usb connectors. I'm thinking the latter but I'm really not sure. :o Any help would be great.

There are no 'holes' in usb connectors or sockets. This is a typical usb connector:

Is this the type of connector you are talking about?

Where you connect USB ports on the front of your case is usually marked with USB1 and/or USB2 on your motherboard.
Usually These connectors will be on the bottom edge when you have the motherboard installed.

Yes That's the type of connector I'm talking about. I'm not taking about the exposed external usb connectors, just the 2 internal ones used for adding further external usb ports etc. I've got it working anyway. I just went ahead and put the two connecting leads into the same usb connector i.e. one in Side A and one in side B on my PC4800-E Deluxe motherboard and it worked first time :)
