Guys this is my set up, i know very little about satellites so can you tell me if you think i need anything else?
    Manhattan Plaza 250 PVR 200 GB 2CI
Triax TD88 90cm Triax Diseqc motorised dish
50mm, 2 inch dia. pole ground stand. 1m high pole

I think the current problem i have is that because i cant mount the satellite onto the wall of the house :( its on my balcony . I have faced it south east but the is a line of trees in my estate facing that direction. I bought Omnisat Digital Satellite Compass from maplins to try and find anything. i lined it up to the astra 2 satellite and turned on the search mode on my reciver. When i used the search function for astra 2 the satellite moved itself with the motor.
I have not found a single channel on any satellite at all. I get a Signal strenght of 76% on my menu but when i do a search it goes down to 32% and i always have 0% Quaility always??

You guys have any ideas or do you think im f**ked???

You just are pointing at wrong satellite. Every 3 degrees is a different Satellite.
DigitAlb is possible, not sure which size dish.

    Zero quality means wrong satellite.

Have had problems locking onto 16 degrees east with small dishes...so far have been successful with 1.1metre dishes in the Limerick area...no problems even in rain so far..

I'm using an 80cm Triax dish for Digitalb (16E) at the moment in Donegal, but it only works OK as long as there's no rain. I would reckon a 1m dish would be a minimum requirement, so I've ordered a 1.1m Triax.

80cm down here in Waterford seems fine in most conditions on 16E, however we haven't had any torrential down pours down here since I set it up.

Actually tried 1metre dishes in Limerick and couldnt get a good lock...but with a 1.1 Metre triax dish they worked everytime....hard to beleive a .1 of a metre would make a lot of difference but it did...so I would recommend anyone starting out to use a minimum of a 1.1metre dish
