If it is just for one machine you could get an OEM copy. €93 for XP Home SP2b at Komplett.ie

Cheers Ruu, Its for one machine, I have 3 copies of XP Pro but lost the lisence keys for them so the cheaper the better. I was hoping it would be alot cheaper than €93!! ;)

The lisence key could be on a sticker on the PC or underneath the laptop.

    :)

    There is also www.software4students.ie
Their definition of "student" is rather broad (thankfully......)
    MS software massively discounted.

These weren't installed on any machines at all the stickers and CD's were all put away until I needed them and now that I need one the stickers are lost!

Seriously advise you get the Pro and not the home version. The home version is banned in all the universities and all public offices, with good reason.......

...That it can't be part of a domain and has the file security hidden away. Other than that it's the same Kernel, same application integrity etc.
