Down times?

    It was just announced that boards was to have more "down times?" Now what's your interpretation? Huh?

    OK, I'll give it a shot... The Admins don't want us to get bored with boards, so they are encourging us to "get down" more often?;)

    No, its due to boards.ie being a little depressed after giving birth to Social.ie. Usually, such post baby blues take some time to disapate, but, well, she isn't getting any younger, is she? Such changes are going to have a deterimental effect on a site of any age, or size...but she's pushing 7 years now, and a little thick around the middle with over a 100,000, you know. Maybe a website younger than her could handle herself better, but the strain does take its toll.

    I'm still reeling that regi posted here. It must just be me, but whenever one of the uber gods posts something in a regular peoples forum, i get a sense of awe and wonder and fear. And get a little bit hot below the belt.
