Bellings Electric Hob--Plate always on full

    Hi all,

Just a question about a cooker hob. There is a Belling dual over/hob. It's got 4 plates (the usual 2 big, 2 small). However one of the plate when turned on stays on full. The other plates adjust automatically (i.e. allowing food to simmer in a pot), while this plate just stays on full.

Does the control know need to be repalced of the plate/thermostat element?
