Hi Voldermore and welcome to your new habit.

First off, I'd go read through some of the stickies, particularly the one regarding AEGs and the firearms act of 2006, followed perhaps by the gear photo thread so you can see what kind of stuff is out there.

    Oh, and the newbie sticky.

After that, and you're still interested, I'd recommend attending HRTA (they do rentals for the day) and if you like it start having a look at the stickies regarding manufacturers and retailers.

Edit: Actually on reading, the newbie thread has most of the info you'll need in it anyway

Ok, well before you go buying anything voldermore, please read the legal thread I linked above. It's not long and has stuff that you will NEED to know before you go spending money.

Ok, well if you're sure about the legal stuff, take a look through the newbie thread and gear photo thread for an idea of what kit you might like (or haven't seen before and like the look of) and how good/reliable/value for money various manufacturers and retailers are.

    Yup.

    Read the sticky's! :D

All you need to know is there. Though it's a fair bit of reading I admit.

The number one rule for pistols is try before you buy. Everyone has differant preferences on the grip, etc. If you come down the HRTA I'm everyone will be more than willing to let you try out theirs. That way you're sure to find something comfortable.
