How about we setup a leauge. Every banchmark possible. CPU/GPU/RAM.

Ill work out how to do tables tomorrow.

But for now, lets work out which benchmarks we will use....

Yeah we can use sisoft... But i dont trust it for cpu benchmarking, for memory it seems fine.

I'm hoping we can do stock, and then overclcked

* Add the banchmarks you want but, add all reaults as stock and overclocked.

If anyone has any better ideas, please let me know. I will be happy to impliment them.

scrap 3d mark 03 and 05.just having ed mark 06 and 01 as with 01 you get a much better cpu score then in 06 comapred to gpu.

This just helps to find the overclocker who spends the most

The only way to see who actually has the most knowledge / talent would be for everyone to have a go with identical kit.

An 8800 Ultra will outperform a 8800GTX in 3D Mark 06, but you have to be a muppet to buy one as they represent shocking value for a marginal performance increase. Thats just one example of why this shows nothing of substance.

It's a shame, as its a great idea.

Lets all dig round our spare parts and build a boardsie benching rig, then send it round to everyone

It's a good idea sort of, but how many people would actually be in the league? I mean how many people on boards overclock/bench, not that many I'd say.
