God , i'm looking forward to some dark nights, so i won't have to make use of the decent light -- anyway i've struck up a decent relationship , with this gang down the liffey , and am giving out prints of some of my stuff to them next week -- photography seams one of those things where i'm actually losing money -- but bringing a smile to some is priceless --
let me know what you think of them , once again i see some photogenic stuff
    in them

Second one is great, but brighten up the faces of the kids and the dog, their too dark. Great shot though

I can't imagine how I'd go about taking shots like that.

    Great work:)

I think one of the most unfortunate things about your work is that it can't be viewed together, as it would have massive impact as a collection, much more impact than on their own.

The second one above is my pick of the lot Barry.

I'd love for you to find some way of putting them all together, whether it be a book, or some kind of exhibition, though, if it were to be an exhibition, I think it would have to be run in a completly different way...

The second and third show the difference in your stuff these days Baz. That's something you just can't do without having the guts to get in there and speak to people, I really admire that. And now you really seem to be putting a lot of thought into your framing and composition, it's working really well.

thanks guys -- funny Al , in my crazy head i was thinking of something similar the past few days -- since about Feb , i've been shooting daily (combat streesfull life sits) , started off as a blog that never happened -- now i was thinking maybe by year end , get 50 of my best , framed to A3, bit of input in how to select the best ones , that complete a set -- scrounge around for a bit of financial backing , i might hussle some bucks from somewhere (pay them back on sales) -- and then show them in some suitable city location -- i'd ask you all along -- anyway cheers

    Hey thebaz, the one everyone is raving about no 2 is showing the following message;

"The photo you were looking for has been deleted... You might like to ask thebaz_dublin about it!"

eh...., like...., so......., Any chance of reinstatement ? Would like to take a peek.

First one is darn interesting. Do let us know if it gets to an exhibition. That would be so cool.

as regards the exhibiition, i'm going to start looking into it , a few other people outside boards have suggested it , and i know a few people who might help , or hopefully might help -- for what i do i'd like costs reduced , and shown somewhere appropriate -- cheers,
    B.

    thanks.

a glimpse of life in the process of being captured. the b/w's are great. subject matter is so topical at the present.

in the words of Franklin Delano Roosevelt "there is nothing to fear except fear itself"

no worries , as i suggested somwhere else ,i wouldn't recomend it for everyone -- sometimes things can get a bit hary , but i relate to people as equal's , and when they see i'm genuine , its usually fine ... i have met some great people but there has been a few threatening situations , but its like a mission -- to show the 2 sides to dublin city
