I have had a nice run at 50nl and build a steady BR and have well in surplus of reccommended 20 buyins for thr 50nl level.

I am going to dabble in the 100nl game to gradually break myself in.

I normally 4 table 50nl and was looking for opinions on optimal way of breaking in. e.g 3 table 50nl and 1 table 100nl

Also from a higher content discussion point of view, what differences to look for in 100nl and the pit falls of players trying to move up.

Has any one any advice or comments to make regarding this?

Well done Roadsweeper, my advice for what its worth:

Tighten Up, your naturally going to be playing a bit scared for the first few hours or so because the stakes have doubled and playing marginal hands until your used of the new level can be a bit daunting. Ive moved back to 100nl and im playing alot tighter 19% V$PIP now compared to 24 or so that i used to play but im doing very well so far.

3betting, theres a few regulars that 3bet alot more but in general the usual donks 3bet no more than usual at 50nl so dont get caught up in thinking everyone 3betting light until youve plenty of information on the player. I had alot of trouble with 3betting in the beginning and it cost me alot. Now i stick to 3bet stealing from the blinds vs CO or Button stealers with an attempted to steal rate of 25+ which is very profitable and i also try not to 3bet anyone with a high call cbet stat or that gets tricky. If your comfortable 3betting this advice probably dosent really apply but if your like me then this might help.

I dont find 100nl that much harder than 50nl albeit i have yet to be able to comfortably beat either level over a decent sample but i find that stats are very helpful, theres nothing worse than sitting down at a table of unknowns and hitting TP and not knowing wheter to value bet or not or they come over the top and you dont know where you stand, even some of my HH i posted over the last week, i dont how many times ive gained or saved a big portion of my stack because of a note or the stats i had on him, im rarely at a table where i dont have 50+ stats on every player.

Good luck anyway and well probably be competing for the same fish pretty soon. On breaking in i just started playing as normal, id imagine playing 50nl and 100nl together would get a bit confusing on bet sizing etc, keep us updated!
