    Folks

Some advice/help would be greatly appreciated. I've moved into a new apartment and can't get in touch with the management company to find out who provides the TV service

I have a coaxial connection on the wall and I'm getting all the Irish Channels BBC 1/2/3/4 Film 4 ITV 1/2 Channel 4 Channel 5 and a few others.

I want digitial TV or simply more channels and NTL/Chorus and neither have a record of the address.

I assume there is some kind of receiver on the roof and I'm not allowed to have a dish under the terms of the management company

    Do I have any options?

Its sounds as if you are connected to a mini cabling system where a dish is used to connected to a number of boxes which provide one channel each...such as Film 4 and the bbcs etc.

Depending on how the infastructure involved it may be possible to get a full Sky install subscription but you will loose what you currently have. Or is there more than one socket on the wall?? If so it may be possible to retain what you already have and have a full working sky system working.

I have installed a number of such systems in the Limerick area..

    your options,

before you bring in a 3rd party installer to do work for you I would strongly advise you to contact you management company either by phone or letter and ask for the name of the current maintenance contract holder for the TV system. Also outline what you wish to have installed and why.
this a very common problem, all over the country. if you get your own installer to look at the system and next week one of your neighbours TV gives trouble.........
