[Wanted] Thomas the Tank Engine Bed - Or.

    Hi,
    I've been looking to buy a Thomas the tank engine or little Tikes racing car bed for my 20 month old boy for over two weeks - Argos , Smyths are out of stock and all UK outlets won't deliver to ROI. I'm based in Kerry but will travel to Northern Ireland to buy.
    Next,Woolworths and Mothercare have them in the Online shops - But say they haven't them in any outlets.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Try furniture shops like Diamond Living, Read's etc.
    They might have them and most of them have stores all over Ireland.

    Also suggest you change the title to WANTED.

    My local Byrne's World of Wonder Toy shop (Mullingar) have a TtTE bed on display in store and I'm sure it's only arrived recently. I'll call in there later and check what the stock situation is. They have it on Buy4now also. Try ringing the Byrnes stores nearer you.

    No joy I'm afraid, they had a TtTE on display but none in stock, they did offer to ring around their other stores to find one, but I didn't put them to that trouble as I wasn't going to be buying it myself! They did say they had the Red racing car in stock (but not on display).

    Perhaps you can try ringing around some Byrnes shops yourself.

    No trouble at all! My little lad was delighted to have another trip to the toyshop!

    Did they confirm that they had it in stock when you ordered it online?

    The new Byrnes World of Wonder in Clonard, Wexford. Has the thomas bed anyway, You could maybe wait until next week (when they open) and give them a call.

    I rang the online call centre this Morning to confirm - Thay said that it was in stock and I should have it for the end of the week.
    Next trick is to get him to sleep in it.
