    Anybody know any cheap enough couriers from England to Ireland?

    I bought a car sound system off Ebay the weight is 26Kg and the size is L-80, W-60, H-60cm. I got a quote off parcel2go but they wanted about £90 :eek:

    I have had a few things around the 30kg mark couriered over approx the same size and they cost me £55.
    Try;
    RoadAir - excellent service and they ring you back very quickly and have friendly staff.
    DHL - found them very good to deal with. not a bad word.
    UPS - never used them as i have heard very bad stories from friends so i would stay away.

    Which one did you use? With DHL it's about £140 crazy money.

    Honestly lads if anyone here can help me out with this I would be really thankful. I bought it a few months ago so time is running out. I mean its only 26Kg

    Interlink quoted me a base charge of €37.00 which includes the first kilo in weight plus €1.50 per kg thereafter, plus VAT & a fuel surcharge of 4%

    Try Parcelforce, not sure if they'll suit the weight though. They're handy for the smaller packages.
    Royal Mail is pretty efficient and probably cheapest.
