Abyss Directors Cut, Bladerunner, Starship Troopers, Alien series, The Last Starfighter is fun, Outland is great too.

But Serenity is super sweet, deserves to be forcefed to George Lucas til the lesson on making good scifi is learned!

Personally think Unbreakable is a tremendous film, but it depends what type of sci fi your looking for :)

    Serenity +1

I love the original transformers cartoon film

The killer tomato films are a good laugh

    Original Terminator rocks

The day the earth stood still

Returner is good to play "spot the film they ripped of there"

With you on Enemy Mine, glued to it on some preSky movie channel called Premier back in the 80's, they played it a lot and I watched everytime, excellent reworking of the whole Robinson Crusoe story.
Also love Dark Star, especialy Bomb.
Anyone remember Robot Jox? Or Crash and Burn?

As well as many of the films mentioned here, I'd add Gattaca (my favourite sci-fi film) and Pitch Black.

Critters or Critters 2 (but none of the others, they're rubbish), absurdly funny!
Fur balls from outer space with razor sharp teeth who shoot poison darts, what more could you want!

They Live, classic corny sci-fi with Rowdy Roddy Piper.
