Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Argh dont get me started...

Was supposed to have him for 2nd year forensics. He disappeared (!!!) half way through the year, no lectuers etc. etc.

The only reason I got pissed off was because I liked the subject. Ended up getting a replacment who taught us more in 1 week than we learned in half a year with the other lad. I pitty anyone that has that fecker. We took advise from the lads who were the year above us, and good advise it was too. We went into Michael Barrett and plaughed him, eventually got a legend of a lecturer who actually LIKED teaching us, we had good craic, learned and did a small project... I feel all l33t now

Yeah, lecturing really is about whether you enjoy it or not as a lecturer. When I was lecturing at the IT I really enjoyed it. It was the best job I've ever had and to be honest, I'm ultimately hoping to get back doing it again at some stage (either in Sligo or somewhere else). I think the main thing is to make it interesting and fun, then people really seem to get into it.

I did some Java, advanced internet tech, quality, and projects.
