Agencies for sourcing rented accommodation

Just wondering if anyone could recommend an agency for sourcing rented accommodation and what the costs are involved? I have a friend who needs to find accommodation in Dublin but will not be here to look and so realistically needs someone else to look for her.

Additionally, and here's the catch, the accommodation will need to accept rent allowance. Any constructive advice welcome.

It very much works in the other direction unless you want to spend real money. Some agencies offer a service to people looking, but it seems they just re-hash their listing. Daft has a list for rent allowance friendly properties (EDIT: I'm not sure if they still have this).
