Anybody see it,it looked awful.Seamie Heffernan with a double handfull on the Stable second string doing nothing to encourage his mount to go by the 2/7 fav with Fallon up.

As thread on letsbet, but yeah, Magne Cum Laude definitely had way more left in the tank... but I mean if a 2/7 shot is turned over by a 6/1 shot from the same stable, more Q's would have been asked, so solution is... don't leave him win. Madness alright... but lucky I did the forecast!! :D

    It is here http://play.www.atr.servecast.net/ppv/atr/frameset.asp?va=TIP_2007_08_30_05_1855

Shocking alright. As for "a 2/7 shot is turned over by a 6/1 shot from the same stable, more Q's would have been asked" is not right either.

Maybe it is me being cynical, but for the fact that Coolmore is a major sponsor at Limerick junction, would more have been done?

What is it? 6 week automatic ban for the jockey?

We know it is happeneing every day of the week where horses are held back etc, but once Seamie got himself into this situation, he had to ride it out which he failed to do so. Holding a horse up from the front is not the correct place to do so!!!!

View his previous race to see perhaps why Heffernan rode him this way.

this was the only horse last night to be enquired into by the stewards -heres what heffernan had to say

    Meeting: Tipperary
    Date: 30/08/2007

Horse - Trainer - Report From - Findings
Magna Cum Laude - A.P. O`Brien - J.A. Heffernan - Horse travelled well throughout the race but did not find a lot in the later stages when asked for his effort and was outstayed by the winner close home.

    didnt get a performance warning
