    Fold I reckon

I think that's pretty close, I probably fold though. Don't bet so much on the flop, you're either WA/WB and in 3-bet pots you don't need to bet anywhere close to pot size. Betting anything above 60 is pointless imo

I call and expect to be ahead.... the only reason I check the river here is to allow him to take a stab at it....

tough hand, I would lean towards a call but without being at the table its hard to know.

so if you didnt think he is likely to bluff you would bet for value?

Why do you expect to be ahead ? The only reason i think about calling here is cause of the odds i am being laid but i expect to be behind most of the time here.

As played I call... I like betting the river here and folding to a raise......

but then again it's prob why I'm not playing 2/4

what hand do you put him on that you beat? I guess if he calls 3 bets light he could show up with 44 or 9Ts not hearts. I might call but I would definitely fold for a bigger bet.

Thats one thin ass value bet. I mean i can't see anyone calling with a worse hand than ours if we bet the river.

I could be a mile off here... but given your read preflop and history of calling 3 bets and his flop steal % I think he could have a wide range here....

while not mad about his flop float and check on the turn I think we have the best of it......

He prob had the nuts though?

I think of all the lines betting and folding to a raise is the worst!

If you follow the way the guy played the hand he should have either a king or a draw. I think its very unlikely he has a set, his check on the turn is almost never that strong a hand. (the pot is big and has multiple draws).

Also preflop means Ak is unlikely.

So in imo his range is KQ-KT, or no pair. (small chance of something like Aj QJ)

anyway, when you bet the river he has to be worried about AK. I doubt he pushes KQ for value (he might). I reckon if you bet and he pushes he is very likely to have a draw that missed and is just hoping you dont like that second king.

Since you are likely to be bluffed if you bet and its hard for him to call with a worse hand I think betting is out. Check call or check fold are both ok, and depend on what % of the time he is going to bluff with a missed draw or turn another hand into a bluff

What has this got to do with the jacks?

You are all horribly off topic, I'm reporting all your posts.

it's not just that they're square - the ledge is infeasibly close to one's tisint.

I called He had AA - boo....

I think he def 4 bets AK preflop

Yes - I think my flop bet is too big.
logic behind my call was " I call 'cause fuk him that's why!" - he only folded to 33% of flop bets on his river aggression factor really peaked..

    thanks for insight...

After we check , what do you think about shoving over his river bet if we are deeper?

If it goes check/bet on the river following his line from the whole hand he rarely has a very strong holding or its a bluff.

I mean surely he would have folded AA , what about his most likely other holdings K,10 , KQ.

Its a river bluff catcher rebluff :)

Yes, oppo dependent, but in general, I like this. And I don't think we need to be a lot deeper either
