    Any good places in mayo that has some good live music at the weekends?

    Appreciate any good tips

    Lots of places in Westport do trad if that's your cup of tea.

    I know that there are often live bands in Balla at weekends, Castlebar is pretty crap for live pub music unless you count the odd Thursday night in Bar 1... I hope this helps

    Yes castlebar crap now with the humbert closed. Westport is OK. Matt Molloys has a decent variety. Trad up front and various down the back, its usually pretty lively in there. Heneghans five doors up from matts usually has a band out the back.
