Zen and the art of connection

Good lady wife got herself a ZEN player (don't ask me which version) among other things to downlod pictures from the digicam to the player, using the player as an additional storage place while a computer is not available. (e.g while on holidays)

    Problem is:

The digicam has a Mini USB A female connector, so has the Zen Player. Theoretically you get a cable with two Mini USB A males either side and off you go.

In practise there is no such cable to be found! ...anywhere

Creative labs certainly don't have it.

Somewhere on some forum we came across a picture of an adapter that takes the big USB A connector of the standard cable that is supplied with the ZEN and translates it down to Mini a (male) ...so USB mini A male on one side and USB A female on the other.

That cable also can't be found anywhere.

Tried the ususal suspects (creative, Lindy, RS, google in general) ...nothing

Can anyone please point us in the right direction?

    Thank you

    EDIT
The standard creative sync cable doesn't work either, as the USB end is the big USB a connector

Most creative players don't support loading files from a camera. You should check that first. I think the Zen Vision M (60GB) does. Don't know any others.
