GMIT Mature students

    starting in GMIT as a mature student this year, just wondering if anyone else here is in the same situation?

    Started last year myself. Not a mature student though, went in straight after the Leaving Cert. Doing Film & Television down in the Cluain Mhuire campus. Starting my second year on the 17th, honestly can't wait, I love the course.

    What are you gonna be doing anyway? You know anyone else in the college?

    Done the same thing last year...felt like a ejjit the 1st week...not so bad after that

    cool, going to do business computing and digital media. i do know a few other people in there but no mature students. guess it dont really matter anyway

    Wouldn't worry about it if I was you. Theres 2 mature students in my course and they get on with the rest of us just fine, I get on with them better than most in my course actually. Just remember that you're all students at the end of the day and you'll be grand.

    Edit: Didn't realize that it was from 2007, never mind.
