Just wondering if I was to get one of these systems would it work with NTL digital (cable) & my iMac 17"?

Would I be able to view & record all the channels that I have on my NTL box?

Any idea what I can do with it at least?

I think the NTL digibox only outputs one channel at a time, i.e. whichever one os selected from the remote. That means that the antenna output at the back of this box only has one channel on it at any one time. So there is nothing to "tune" in on the elgato except for this one channel which has to be changed from the digibox remote and not from the software that comes with the elgato.

Unless they've changed the mode of operation of these boxes recently then you're stuck with watching/recording only what's available from the digibox output.
