P45!!!!!

    Hi,

Quick question, i used to work for the company Capita on behalf of Eircom. I finished working there in the end of May this year. As of now, I am still waiting on my P45!

I have rang Eircom, who told me that the P45 comes from Capita in the UK & I should have it at the end of June after the wages had been processed.

I have rang the tax office twice who have sent out letters (P43) and a follow up letter which Capita/Eircom are not returning.

I have rang Capita ( Life & Pensions) and she didn't have a number for the Eircom section of Capita.

I have tried to call the HR in Eircom several times over the past few weeks, have left messages & no one gets back to me or answers the phone.

Anyone have similar experience with Eircom/Capita?

Anyone I can report them to or any other way to go about getting my p45 without having to go through Capita/Eircom?

    Any suggestions or advice appreciated!!!!

I'm assuming that you were working *in* Eircom, but *for* a company called Capita?

In that case, eircom have nothing to do with this. Capita are obliged to provide you with a P45. Ring the tax office again. And again. Tell them that Capita are refusing to send out your P45. Revenue will crucify this company if they are employing people in Ireland but refusing to supply P45's. If you make it look like Capita are just delaying or forgetting, then revenue will give them some slack. If you tell Revenue that the company are refusing to supply a P45, they'll get no slack.
