Could I get some advice on what amount of clothes - jeans/jumpers/t-shirts/shirts/jocks/socks that I would need to servive travelling every second day and going out to pubs/clubs possible every night :)

don't have any idea on what to bring. don't know how its possible to interrail with so few clothes but yet thats the way to go apparantely!

Your help and suggestions would be of great help to us.

    thanks

    mick

Don't bring jeans whatever you do, they're heavy and take forever to dry!

Stick with a couple of pairs of combats, a wrinkly shirt, a couple of teeshirts, and a smart jumper for when you go out in the evening. Remember you're going to have to carry all this stuff so the less stuff the better! Anything you're short of you can just buy when you're out there.

I dont know how i'll manage with the whole washing/drying of clothes. will a 80 + 10 litre rucksack be enough for the trip?

It'll be bloody cold in Central Europe in November. And I mean cold. Sub-zero at night and early in the day, winds that would cut you.

I'm going that direction too, and I'll bring jeans because they are warm, and a quilted parka, and even though I never wear headgear at home, I'll bring a woolly hat (that I bought last November in Vienna 'cos I needed it). Plain cotton T-shirts can double up as vests if you need them.

I have no clue about rucksacks, but wear the bulkier items for travelling and you can save space.

Oh God that's huge!! 65 or 70 should be PLENTY! I did a RTW trip on 55+10 and it was loads, and I'm a girl (not sure if that has anything to do with it!). Most hostels will have a laundry service ... worst case do some sink-washing.

If your bringing a large backpack, be carefull with the weight! I got done on ryanair coming back from Croatia for 16.50 pounds for being 3 kg over!! A word of warning!! Other than that yes it will be cold, so come prepared. Oh, and i live in Slovenia now so if your heading my way let me know, beer and fun to be had in Ljubljana! :D

Have loads of layers. That way you can adapt to the cold easier. In saying that though November shouldn't be too bad. A t-shirt, a shirt (or a second t-shirt), a jumper/fleece and a warmish jacket and you should be ok.

I've seen -18° days here (not in november) but a cold wet windy day in Ireland is far colder imo.
