USB Serial Bus Controller not found

    Hi,

    I'm after re-installing XP on a machine in work here. However after installing XP the USB hub controller wasn't picked up and it isn't in the list in device manager under devices with a problem. It just isn't there.

    I've updated the chipset drivers but no luck. Has anyone ever encountered this?

    (the motherboard has 2 usb ports and another 2 are connected to it from the front of the machine).

    Thanks for any help.

    EDIT: Any device plugged into the port will receive power.
