    Hi,

I'm in urgent need of help.

I got a file format sent to me as .psf

It's a scan of a hardcopy letter. I can't open it and a google doesn't turn up any useful programs other than ChiWriter.

How do I open this?!?! I need to get it opened and signed off by tonight.

    Thanks in advance

Why not reply to the sender and ask what software you need to open it?

Could try the trial version of photostudio (why anyone would assume that everyone has this software i don't know).
    Can be got http://www.arcsoft.com/support/downloads/demoversion.asp?title=15 .

There are a few file formats that seem to use the .psf extension so would really suggest asking the sender for information.

that's the problem, if I had that option I would have got in touch with them by now....

It was scanned by some bird in an internet café in London. then mailed on to me by the client. He's not in the café anymore and he's now out of reach contact wise :(

    You reckon photoshop would work?

/* edit... Photoshop doesn't work :( I'll check out the one you mentioned

Got it! I remembered a program I used to use for batch conversion called IrfanViewer, it opens alot of file types.

    :):):)
