My wireless router is the Netopia 3347W eircom one. Does anyone know if it's possible to configure this to block a particular port, and if so, how? I can't find the option on any of the routers configuration pages or the online documentation.

    Thanks.

I guess if all else fails you could forward the port to an address with nothing on it. But what port do you want to block, and is it incoming or outgoing?

Its an inside port, 38676. In the status screen, there are about 100 instances of this port being used to connect to outside addresses when one particular user is online.

Im just wondering if there is a simple way of blocking this port, and if anyone familiar with my particular router knows the exact steps?

    Thanks

100 instances? If it's a P2P app then that could be easily changed. The Netopia instructions on their site show nothing useful regarding it's firewall.
