    Atienza Kali Training Group meet, Galway, Sunday 26th of August.

    Instructors: Dave Joyce, Aran Keenan

    The session started off the session with a quick recap of the right hand targeting chain for sword evolution # 1 and the corresponding hourglass and blade pattern. Then draws from the targeting chain were practiced, followed by drawing and holstering the blade at specific points within the hourglass pattern.

    Next left hand targeting chain for sword evolution #1 was taught counts 3 at a time and then worked through the targeting chain until it was installed. This was followed the by the corresponding hourglass and blade pattern. As with the right hand version, the draws and holstering within the hourglass and blade pattern were covered.

    Once both targeting chains were installed drawing and holstering at any point in either chain was practiced, making sure to cross from one targeting chain to the other, looking for the points at which both left and right hand targeting chains overlap.
