Quick question. How do I know if a buyer has paid by paypal with an unverifeid account that the payment is legit, in other words that the money won't be taken back out of the account in the future if a fraud is discovered. I'm just being a little windy here, new to selling and not really sure what this verified/unverifed thing means.

Being verified reduces the chances of fraud. US account holders can add their bank accounts and their identity is confirmed. When you receive a payment, you can check the status of the sender and whether they are verified/unverified.

Ruu has it right there. Being Verified shows that you can be more trusted within PayPal.

It does not mean that your transaction will go smoothly from start to finish, there are any number of problems that could happen but selling to a Verified member usually makes things easier for sellers. If you are selling to an unverified member you should contact them prior to sending the item and make sure everything is as it should be just to be sure.
