Warwick Rockbass

I was thinking about getting a new fretless 5 string bass soon, and the Rockbass Fortress caught my eye on thomann. It seems pretty good, unlined board which I prefer, and active electronics.

I know someone here has a rockbass, forget who it is but I'm just wondering about quality - sound and building.

    Thanks!

Does anyone even know who it was?!

I've one of the "proper" Warwicks, not one of the Rock Bass range. I haven't played a Rock Bass but Warwick tend to be very reliable (and mine is certainly gorgeous sounding), granted a Rock Bass won't have the same quality as the higher end models but I think you'll definitely get your money's worth and more.
