I have windows vista basic and this message keeps appearing (CAPI_Worker module has stopped working) and I have no idea what it means.

I think it has something to do with me trying to download songs from my computer to phone. have a sony ericsson w880 and am using the software they provided, disc2phone.

Upgraded from windows xp to windows vista home basic and the problem has only occured since then.

Can't upload any songs now from computer to phone - the message is 'disk2phone has stopped working'.

Anyone experience this or know how to fix it?

Yes - it's S.E.'s dodgy software. Although, they will blame the .NET framework.
Try downloading a new version of the software from their website.
If that fails, download and reinstall .net and patches(service packs) from microsoft.com

It's a component of the SE Suite that is not compatible with Vista. I think there is a fix on the SE site as I managed to get mine working eventually.

Actually I think I just ran the installation in compatibility mode for Windows XP SP2.

Thanks. I downloaded the software from the Sony Ericsson site this morning and it's all working fine now.
