    My lawn is full of dandelines. There never used to be that many before this year. Is there anyway of getting rid of them.

    Have a look at this thread. You need to 'weed and feed'.

    Also, remove the heads of the flowers before they open into 'clocks'.

    If your lawn is not too big, then I'd recommend Verdone. It kills most weeds, but usually two applications, two weeks apart.
