Analog Camcorder as webcam

    Hi,
    I have a Panasonic RX21 VHS camcorder....I recently bought a dazzle
    and was wondering if I could use my camcorder as a webcam for msn etc?? has anyone tried it??I know its possible for dv camcorders...but is it possible for analog??

    yes, i've tried it. MUCH much better quality than those cheap and nasty webcams.

    Once you have a yellow phono video output on your camcorder, all you need is a male-male phono cable, install the Dazzle driver. Then in the webcam setup for msn, yahoo, skype and so on...select the "camera" to use which will be in fact your dazzle and away you go.

    It's true, I use my own camcorder and it's insanely better, although sometimes stuff like auto-brightness doesn't work the way it should.
