    Hi everyone!

Just wondering (and bear with me and my complete computer illiteracy!) how to turn off the little window that pops up when i get a new email (the one in a blue box that has the sender and the first line of the message)... it keeps popping up while I do presentations and demo's on my computer which can be bad if i get a personal email.

I know i can just exit outlook but for various reasons, I need this open while doing presentations.

I used the help in Outlook however it gave the following instructions:

"On the Tools menu, click Options.
Click E-mail Options, and then click Advanced E-mail Options. "

When i go to Tools and then Options, I do not actually have a section called Email Options, so I'm getting quite confused! If anyone could help, it would save me alot of grief!

    Thanks guys!

Which version of Outlook? Are you looking under the General Tab for something as well?

Make sure you are in the 'Preferences' tab. You should see something like the attachment below. I have circled the button you are looking for. This is for outlook 2003, it may not work for any other version.
