Buying DVDs online from an EU country

    Hi,

I'm thinking about buying a couple of dvds online from a company based in the Czech Republic. I've heard stories about people buying stuff online from the USA and then being charged VAT/Import duties when the stuff is delivered to them. Does the same apply when you buy things from another EU state? Would I be liable to these charges?

    Cheers.

No, you'll be ok, theres no import duty on goods bought within the EU.
